Two active paths onto the grid
Pick your lane.
The L.L. Bean Cup Series remains UARL’s active national division, while the Open Series remains independent and available to every eligible driver. D2 is preserved only as a Season 6 archive after its Daytona opener.

The Grand National Series was discontinued after its Daytona opener. All rostered D2 drivers moved into the D1 free-agent pool.

The active Season 6 formats now center on Cup and the Open Series. Cup uses The Chase; the Open Series championship goes to the highest points total. D2 Daytona scoring remains preserved in the archive.

Before you sign
Are you cleared?
No previous racing experience is required. Every driver must still meet the league’s age, licensing, roster, and attendance requirements.
Age & experience
- Drivers must be at least 16 years old.
- No previous racing experience is required to join.
- Voice chat is preferred but not required.
- The Open Series is available to all eligible drivers.
Licenses & starts
- D1 eligibility requires making The Chase or completing a successful tryout.
- With D2 discontinued, former D2 rostered drivers have moved into D1 free agency.
- D1 team assignments and eligibility remain subject to league approval and tryout rules.
Attendance & substitutes
- Absences must be reported through DNF points or an approved substitute request.
- Repeated no-call, no-show absences can trigger an inactivity warning.
- Approximately 10–12 regular-season race attempts may be required for Chase eligibility, depending on signed-driver count and official requirements.
- Part-time entries and substitutions must be announced at least one hour before the race.
From practice to the checkered
How race day works.
Special-event procedures are announced ahead of the relevant race. Always follow the host’s official briefing when event-specific instructions apply.
Practice & qualifying
- Open practice begins when an official practice announcement is posted.
- Practice closes one hour before the scheduled event.
- Qualifying depends on track length and host preference.
- Open Series fields are determined through a heat system, with car counts based on track size.
Starts, stages & pits
- Races use three stages.
- All starts and restarts take place in the restart zone.
- The choose cone is used while lining up after pit stops.
- Drivers must slow before entering pit road during green-flag runs; speeding may result in a drive-through penalty.
- Under caution, drivers line up at pit entry in running order.
- Overtime procedures apply after the first green-white-checkered attempt.
Disconnects & special races
- Disconnected drivers may respawn and rejoin at the back of the field.
- A returning driver may be scored one or more laps down depending on laps missed.
- Rules for special races are announced before those events.
- Crown Jewels, the Clash, the All-Star Race, and championship events may carry event-specific procedures.

02Race guidelinesSigning deadlines, substitutions, safe driving, and race manipulation
2.1Drivers must be signed by a team within their license class at least one to two hours before a race.Entry eligibility determined by the host.
2.2Part-time signups close one to two hours before race time, depending on the host’s schedule.Late entries may be denied.
2.3Team owners must be notified of every substitution. Owners may accept, deny, or override substitutions.Owner and staff discretion.

Tier 2 — Written warning
Used for repeated minor offenses or moderate rule violations.
- Repeated voice-chat violations or ignoring host instructions.
- Minor abuse of permissions.
- Disrespect toward staff or racers.
- Failure to perform assigned duties.
Outcome: Written warning logged by administration and possible temporary restriction from staff duties.
Tier 3 — Suspension
Used for serious misconduct or repeated violations after warnings.
- Unmuting during races without permission or interfering with race operations.
- Abusing moderation powers or showing major disrespect or toxicity.
- Unauthorized use of ticker controls.
- Excessive inactivity without notice.
Outcome: Temporary suspension from staff duties, removal from staff participation, and temporary loss of staff permissions. Administration determines the length, which may be one day, three days, one week, or another appropriate period.
Tier 4 — Demotion
Used when a staff member repeatedly fails responsibilities or commits major violations.
- Continuous failure to perform assigned duties.
- Repeatedly ignoring leadership.
- Disrupting official events or abusing authority.
- Failure to meet activity expectations.
Outcome: Rank reduction, loss of specific permissions, and a probationary period.
Tier 5 — Termination
Used for severe misconduct or actions harmful to UARL.
- Corruption, administrative abuse, or leaking private staff information.
- Severe harassment or discrimination.
- Intentionally ruining races or events.
- Bypassing ownership decisions, exploiting, cheating, or repeated major offenses.
Outcome: Immediate removal from the staff team, permanent loss of staff permissions, and a possible ban from league events.

Do I need racing experience to join?
No. UARL does not require prior racing experience. Drivers must still meet the minimum age requirement and follow all league rules.
How old do I need to be?
Drivers must be at least 16 years old because of current Roblox-related requirements. UARL also prefers a 16+ community.
How do I become eligible for Cup?
D1 eligibility is earned by making The Chase or successfully completing an approved tryout. With D2 discontinued, former D2 rostered drivers now enter the D1 free-agent pool.
Can I race full time in both national divisions?
No. A driver may compete full time in only one national division and may make up to five part-time starts in the other. Drivers without a full-time national seat may make up to eight part-time starts.
Can anyone run the Open Series?
Yes. Open Series entries are independent, there are no teams, and all eligible drivers may participate. Fields may be determined through heat races based on track size.
Does the Open Series have a championship?
Yes. The Open Series champion is the driver with the most points at the end of the season. Cup uses The Chase; D2 has been discontinued and remains archived after its Daytona opener.
When do substitutions and part-time entries close?
Substitutions and part-time starts must be announced at least one hour before the race. Some signup procedures may close one to two hours before the event depending on the host.
What happens if I disconnect?
Respawn your car and rejoin at the back of the field. You may be scored laps down depending on how many laps you missed.
How do I report a racing incident?

Can an official penalty be appealed?
